The Guernsey Women’s Golf Development Squad is a fantastic initiative that develops and nurtures women’s golf in Guernsey. I have been a member of the squad for several years and enjoy the team spirit and camaraderie of the squad.  The coaching is excellent and has helped to develop my golf game.  It is a privilege to act as treasurer for the Committee.

“My reasons for joining the committee, after having my arm twisted by Angela, are that I started playing golf about 25 years ago. I wanted to give something back to La Grande Mare where I have made many friends and have such fond memories so I was fortunate enough to be Lady Captain in 2017.
I now feel it is the right time to put something back into the Island Development Squad. I’ve enjoyed being part of this for the last few years and have gained help from all of the professionals and made new friends from the other clubs. It’s great to see so many ladies enjoying their golf and improving each year. Hopefully we can now push on to the next level.”
